Roar Marketing Director, Karen Nicholls has been volunteering in the Day Hospice at St Giles for five years. On Monday 30th October, Karen and lots of other volunteers and staff attended a presentation evening. The volunteers and staff were celebrating 25, 15, 10 and 5 years service. The Chairman of St Giles presented the certificates and service badges and said that if they had to pay all the volunteers, who by the way out number staff, it would cost the hospice £2m per year.
